What Is The Ratio Of Male To Female Sufferers.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Most of those who i know and have this are female. I know 3 female sufferers.
One question I was asked regarding thyroid function or its a mix between the pituitary gland and the thyroid are female based. By a ratio of 10 to 1 in favour of females.

You know, that is most probably due to Chronic Yeast Overgrowth being one of the “root causes” of fibromyalgia ......

A disorder that causes chronic pain and fatigue, fibromyalgia strikes mostly women. Of the estimated 5 million adults with fibromyalgia in the U.S., as few as 10% are men. For that reason, the popular perception of it as a women's disease has persisted, even among fellow patients.

One of the main underlying causes of fibromyalgia is Candida/Chronic Yeast Overgrowth. A male may have that root cause, but much more likely that is the female.
