Sadly I get the pins and needles, but Doctor gave my lyrica, it works great
I used to get numbness in hands and feet
I get it mostly in my right hand and arm. I think it may have something to do with my spine. But since it's not my major symptom, I don't usually bring it up.
Had this for 5 years in one of my legs and its now to the point its 24/7 feeling of ants running around the leg yet all tests say no nuropahty or anything the neurologist cant explain whats happening.
I can be walkings, sitting, laying down doesnt matter the position its always there and never goes away.
There are times when walking that i dont notice it becase the legs gone numb so i dont even feel the leg itself which can be a issue since it throws off my balance even more since the other side my foots numb from nerve damage (caused by a shard of glass injury).
I do , doctor put me on lyrica
Numb still there but pins gone
I experienced this issue as well, on and off for a while now. I would recommend getting a full neuro work up to rule out neurological issues. They may do an emg, and/or skin biopsy. If they are unable to find an underlying neurological cause, then most likely it is your fibro. If it is your fibro, your doctor can try a variety of medications to see if it helps with the issue. Nortriptilyine, amatryptaline, or gabapentin. (I am unsure of those spellings, sorry my memory is the worst). I hope you find something that works for you! My longest episode lasted 6days straight.
Stay strong. *hugs*
