Tingling Feeling In Upper Back
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi Everyone
So I have been in a bad flare for a while now along with some severe fatigue. Well today, after taking two doses so far of my medications I am feeling a bit better, but still bad. Anyhow, I have had a tingling feeling under both of my shoulder blades (usually where my pain is the worst) and it is not painful, but it is very tingly like a falling asleep sensation you would get in your hands or feet. Does anyone else experience this? I have had it many times, but I am not thinking… read more

Right on. Neuro transmitters that alter multiple areas of the body out of whack. That is why painful sensations seem random. I have had really painful tingles and numbness. Painful numbness sounds like an oxymoron but it happens. The numbness seems to ache and become tight and almost cold. Anyway just a bit achy today but overall a pretty good day. Hope things get better.

I had tingling from December to End of March several years ago on the bottom of feet hands and shoulder blades and oddly the tip of my nose. It started after I had an operation I had a huge flare. I had all kinds of tests.. came back to fibro. That’s when I went on Gabapentin only 300 mg and it finally subsided. Shoulder blades went away first. Hope it helps to know the same thing happened to me and eventually went away for the most part. Sometimes I still feel tingling on the bottoms of my feet when I first get up in the morning but that is all. 😊

Yes I get this in my shoulders and a lot at the bottom of my neck, right between shoulders! I find when I get it there, I need to lay down and give my neck a rest before it will go away, if it goes away! Lovely fibro!

This happens to me too! Upper and occassionally lower back/hip area. Muscles twitching constantly when sitting down/laying down.
