They get tense & stiff because of poor blood circulation. You have to move to release the blood to flow. Do light easy exercises just by moving your legs slowly up & down, sideways to the left & right. The more you don't move, the stiffer it gets. Every few minutes, Pat your hand everywhere on your leg. Wiggle your leg like a worm. You have to keep moving. If you're lying down on the bed, move your legs.
Slowly start to stretch your muscles, real slow, don't stretch to far or much, keep doing so until your seeing results! Not moving at all or enough will do sever damage to muscle tissue in the sense of muscle degradation especially for long periods of time (for a month or two), I know it's very hard but you musn't give up trying, today I had to stop halfway up my stairs and cry a bit because of the pain in legs, it's crippling but if I give up I will end up being in the same bucket as you, I get agonising lock jaw from pushing through to the point where I'm actually crushing bits of my teeth and end up with teeth so sore I can barley eat, don't forget pain is constant but life isn't as hard as it is we must go on if we are to ever enjoy it!
Well my dr wasn't going to do anything and i just looked at him until hw finally decided to do a blood test
