So, I went to the physiotherapist for my sciatica, here is what she told me to do if it acted up in the future... You take a tennis ball, put it into a sock and you go to a wall. you run the ball from you butt up and down along on the painful side... you don't necessarily need the sock it just makes it easier to control the ball. Believe it or not it does work...from lower back down your butt cheek. Several times if required. Heat and then do it again in a few hours or the next day.

Yes sounds like sciatica. I haven't been able to find any relief for mine and it has now travelled to my toes. My doctor is sending me for physiotherapy hoping they can do something to help. For me if they can't then I'm looking at surgery. I've been suffering for months. I use to get it in the spring and fall when the arthritis in my back flared. It would go away usually within 6-8 weeks. This time not so lucky. Hope yours will go away fast with the icing and rest. 💜

@A MyFibroTeam Member This is what I did 2 days ago....tennis ball in sock etc......I'm glad there are things we can do to help lessen our pain without taking a pill. Good information. Thanks for sharing!

It sounds like sciatica pain. I don't know what helps it but try to Google it. Good luck

Hi Lauren, try positioning yourself with pillows under your knees and even one under the butt cheek on the side of the pain.
Use hot water bottles, and try and get as much bed rest as possible.
Sorry there’s no magic cure.😣🤗🤗
