@A MyFibroTeam Member have you been diagnosed as having asthma because that is what it sounds like? I have asthma for about 36 years now but can control it with an inhaler. I know my limitations and what will cause me to have breathing issues. I also have osteoarthritis, also had one knee replacement )6 mos ago), restless leg syndrome, arthritis, cataracts (removed 2 yrs ago), Parathyroids removed (3), gastric bypass surgery 5 yrs ago. I am 76! Just to name a few. I am sure I also had chronic fatigue syndrome but that seems to have passed, fibromyalgia (20+ yrs). But you get the picture oh yes and a heart murmur since I was 10 and still have that too! Again know my limitations with the heart murmur. But considering everything at my age I'm in GREAT shape LOL!!! It could be a whole lot worse when you think of the alternatives! When I was born (6 weeks early) they didn't expect me to make it and I have outlived my baby brother, parents are dead also. So I can tell you God has a purpose for me to do his work or I wouldn't be here. He's not finished with me yet! I also have insomnia for at least 7 yrs that is why I am awake at 12:37 a.m. at some point will go back to bed maybe sleep 2 hrs then be awake again so this cycle makes it impossible for me to stay awake all day as I doze off watching TV, crocheting, in church, riding in a car, or bus you get the picture. I live alone do all the chores myself, although I no longer drive a car I manage to get a ride to do grocery shopping and other errands and get to church. I have retired about 14 yrs now but keep busy Prayers and hugs

@A MyFibroTeam Member bloodwork showed there was too much calcium in my blood then they ran a bunch of tests plus MRI. the MRI showed the parathyroid was the cause so surgery was scheduled. After the first one was removed they did another blood test, evidently it is supposed to drop immediately and it didn't so go back for the second and again the calcium level didn't drop so went back for the third then it dropped too low. So instead of outpatient surgery I was admitted for 5 days and every day they checked the levels and in the meantime, I was on mega doses of calcium until it reached an 8.6. It also meant every time they came for blood it took them sometimes 4 sticks until they got enough for the test. One day it was every 2 hrs. by the time the 5th day came around, I was ready to jump out the window. So called the Dr and left a msg I needed to see him ASAP THAT day. When he arrived I was crying because the third tech was trying to get enough blood I just couldn't take it anymore. And they were blowing my veins too trying to get blood. Now mind you I was drinking water til I felt I was going to drown LOL! Now the signs of calcium too low are very dangerous and the tingling around the mouth and the palms of my hands were indicators of calcium too low in which case I was to go to the nearest ER. So the 5th day he let me go home but I still had to have blood work every 2 weeks for 3 months!! As a result, I now have osteoporosis and need Prolia injection every 6 months in addition to taking calcium every day. I hope this is helpful to you and others. By the way, we have 4 parathyroids. So I just had blood work done last week and go for my shot on Tues. Prayers and hugs

what other symptoms do you have? What other health conditions do you have? Is this a new symptom? Shortness of breath just from doing a few house chores is a symptom which requires further investigation. I would report it to my doctor, discuss symptoms.

@A MyFibroTeam Member thanks I will try to be more aggressive in stating my state and even though I tell them upfront they ignore me so if I get to do a survey then I won't give them a good one but state the facts!
