Does anyone break out in sweat at least one every 2hrs. I am menopausal 3yrs now and know it could be from that, but i dont know. It is so annoying . U can feel it start in your salivary glands in your cheeks then it goes to your head and down through your body. It only lasts aboutv3 minutes, but it is very annoying

Members connected over the frustrating experience of sudden sweating episodes, with many wondering whether their symptoms stem from fibromyalgia, menopause, or a combination of both, even years after initial menopause. Several members described intense episodes where sweat drenches their hair and runs down their body, often triggered by minimal activity or none at all, with some finding temporary relief through cold water, cooling cloths, peppermint oil, or simply breathing through the discomfort. A recurring theme was the challenge of distinguishing fibromyalgia symptoms from hormonal changes, the emotional toll of unpredictable and embarrassing episodes, and the shared frustration of adding yet another unexplained symptom to an already overwhelming list.

Fibro has caused me to break out in a sweat on my scalp, face & neck. my face & neck turn very dark red & sweat as well as my scalp will sweat so bad that my hair will be wet. The sweat will be so bad that it will run down my chest & back. I can start doing this by sitting still or walking across the floor. I dont have to exert myself at all. Its very uncomfortable. I dont go anywhere without a huge insulated metal container of ice water and one of those cold cloths that you can get at hardware or sports stores. I will wrap it around my neck for a while then put it on my head like a scarf.

I’ve been dealing with menopause for 10 years. Actually, now I’m post meno according to my doc. The symptoms like hot flashes can linger for years though. There are days that I can’t tell if my fog and fatigue are Fibro or meno, it is really frustrating. I’ve tried a lot of different natural supplements including black cohosh and nothing has worked. I’m vegetarian so hormones are not an option. But I have heard they help a portion of meno sufferers. Hope this helps.

I'm not going through menopause now but like some of the previous comments I went through it young due to a hysterectomy. With that being said, yes I go through these sweats daily! I always blamed them on my pain but I'm not sure what causes them. Very annoying.

@MarylwenHansen I agree... adding it to the never ending list because I've had no other meno symptoms in years either.
