It does not help those of us who actually do NEED pain medication for things other than just the Fibro and to have others comment about drug addiction, over-dosing, and the opiod crisis. Do you think I am not exhaustively unaware of the dangers I face in order to have some kind of normalcy to my life? Do you not think I have tried EVEYTHING else to get my life back? Chiropractor, physical therapy, regular therapy, massage, water exercise, stretching, neurologists, rheumatologists, neurosurgeons, back surgeons, trigger point injections, nerve conduction studies...I could go on...and on and on..

My pain Doctor was nothing like what you describe. I have to account for EVERY ONE of my pills every month. I am screened by urine test to make sure that the levels of narcotic in my system do not exceed what have been prescribed. For shame that I come to this support group for help and get what amounts to a lecture about taking pain medication. You have no idea until you have truly walked in my shoes with my pain for as long as I have dealt with it every day. Screw you and the high horse you rode in on.

So uncaring you would think that would be very much unethical as far as the medical profession goes not to mention all the problems that anyone under their care is going to face. Disgrceful
