Lately I have felt what feels like water being spilled on my feet, hands etc. Nothing is there, i’m not wet, not near water. It’s a new feeling for me, just adding to the Fibro fun.

Members widely validated the experience of phantom water sensations, describing it as feeling like water has splashed or dripped onto their skin despite being completely dry, with common locations including shins, ankles, feet, hands, arms, and thighs. Several members shared that they initially thought something had actually gotten wet and would check for moisture, only to find nothing there, with one member noting it took a few instances to realize it wasn't real water. A recurring theme was relief in discovering this strange sensation is shared among others with fibromyalgia, with many attributing it to nerve misfiring or inflammation and expressing gratitude for the validation that they weren't going crazy.

I get that. Started off as a twinge, now it’s like needles all over. Nerves firing I figure.

I feel like a bug is on me. So weird I read this as I did not think anything to do with fibro. I couldn't figure it out. Been happening alot lately and thinking I was going crazy just today cause it just kept being nothing there. Thanks forposting this 😉
