Members shared a wide range of strategies for managing chronic pain, with CBD and medical marijuana emerging as the most frequently mentioned options, though availability varies significantly by location (legal in Canada as of October 2018, restricted or illegal in parts of Australia and the U.S.). Several members found relief through specific medications including Tramadol, morphine-based options like Endone and oxynorm, kratom, and a medical supplement called PEA available at compounding pharmacies, with many emphasizing that finding the right strain or combination requires patience and experimentation. A recurring theme was the frustration of navigating strict prescription monitoring, drug testing requirements that complicate access to both opioids and cannabis, and the reality that no single medication completely eliminates pain, leaving many to combine multiple approaches while advocating for their own care within complex legal and medical systems.

Oh, and we don’t have a pill to take away the pains. I’m afraid if we did, we would be zombies b/c it would be so strong. But I wish we did to be pain free for a few hours.

You have to be able to understand what the pain is... nerve pain, muscle pain etc then treat accordingly. They respond to different treatments. I work on the separately and it gives me a lot of control and benefits. See my bio for more.

I don’t think there is a drug made that will take away our pain. pain
Meds mask our symptoms but until the reason for our pain is discovered and a cure is found all we can do is try our best for pain relief where we can find it.

I looked up oxynorm (USA) said it was a form of oxycodone - found in other countries. We have oxycodone but the govt is trying to cut it down from too many being hooked on it & taking too much & dying.

Kratom. It helps my pain so much now that I have been cut in half on my pain meds. Doesn't show up on the urine test either. Only purchase from a reputable seller-go to forums where people share where they get theirs. Read all about it and research. It takes a lot of trial and error to find what strain helps you the best but I am amazed at how well it controls my pain.
