Members connected over the relentless exhaustion that defines life with fibromyalgia, with many describing feeling tired from the moment they wake up until they go back to bed, never feeling truly rested no matter how much they sleep. Several members shared strategies that help them cope, including pacing activities throughout the day, resting without guilt when their bodies demand it, and recognizing that overdoing it on one day often leads to being bedridden for several days afterward. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of pushing through fatigue to meet responsibilities, the frustration of explaining this invisible struggle to others, and the importance of listening to your body and being kind to yourself even when it feels like giving up.

Hoping we all get some sort of reprieve even if it is a short one. I used to push myself all the time & it made things worse....am learning to pace myself. Do what is best for you & if people dont understand it is their issue not ours. It is hard to explain to people how debilitating & frustrating this condition is....dont give up be kind to yoursefl & think there is always tomorrow. Xx

Sorry to hear Fibromate. It seems like it is the way for most of us now. I wonder if the heat has a lot to do with it, too. I've been in bed the majority of the last two day, with so much that needs to do, but my body won't seem to heed my commands. ha I pray that God will touch you and all of us and help us to feel better and to be active. God bless!

I am really having a rough time the last few weeks. I feel like I could sleep 24/7 but of course I push on! I’m just exhausted and I push myself to do what I have to but other than that, I’ve been doing nothing!!

Yes, I’m very tired from the time I get out of bed till I get back into it. I’m looking for tips/solution myself. I’m assuming that mine is due to constant pain (which is very draining) and also very short periods of sleep at night - which I’ve been unable to resolve, so far! ☹️

Yes 24/7 never wake up feeling refreshed can get up and go right back to bed for hours and still not feel rested.
Was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome on top of the fibro as the reasin for my lack of restful slumber and ability to just fall asleep without needing assistance to do so.
