Members shared their experiences with mysterious finger pain, with many attributing similar symptoms to fibromyalgia, arthritis, or trigger finger, noting that pain often worsens with weather changes and can be difficult to pinpoint to a single cause when multiple conditions overlap. Several members offered practical strategies that have brought them relief, including wearing compression gloves, getting cortisone injections for trigger finger, and seeking chiropractic adjustments for golfers elbow which can cause finger pain. A recurring theme was the frustration of dismissive doctors and the validation found in discovering that others experience the same unexplained, seemingly random finger pain.

I went for over a year of my middle finger numb and my other fingers on both hands feeling like they were jammed. The first doctor I seen said "I don't know whats wrong. We all have aches and pains as we get older". I don't see that doctor anymore. The other doctors just want to give you more pills to take that don't work! This fibromyalgia is bazaar!

My fingers randomly hurt, but I blame it on arthritis - it is bad in my (now crooked) fingers and hands.

Yes, it is my index fingers on both hands. I wear compression gloves when my hands or fingers hurt. It does give some relief!
