I had that going on for a day and half, tried everything, I was in Afib. It is a heart condition when the heart starts pumping irregularly. I've had 2 eqisodes in 1 year. No idea why it has happened. The guess is that is has something to do with my Thyroid condition (hypothyroidism) and parathyroid.

I do, Only When my anxiety is bad and i have an anxiety or panic attack. My heart rate will go up to 122 when normally runs 80-88. Just kept and monitor it and let your drs know, dont want to mess with your heart!!

Tachycardia is a side effect of a lot of meds, including ibuprofen and Aleve. Pain will also run up your heart rate and blood pressure. I do not think you should ignore this, please contact a doctor. Do you have any walk-in clinics? I had to go into them so that there would be a record of the fast and irregular heartbeat, I could not wait until an appointment.

Yes, I have been to the hospital twice for a rapid heart rate. My resting heart rate would get up to 158. I was treated and release, and told to see a heart specialist. They put me on medicine to control my heart rate daily.
