Has anyone been eating Chia seeds? I've been reading about it, and it's high in magnesium, potassium etc. I'm always low in so many stuff.

Has anyone thought it would be better to eat the seeds rather than pills? And, was there any success with them?

Members enthusiastically shared their experiences incorporating chia seeds into their daily routines, with many adding them to smoothies, oatmeal, soups, and baked goods as a natural source of nutrients like iron, magnesium, and potassium. Several members offered practical advice, including starting with smaller amounts (especially for those with IBS or stomach sensitivities), grinding the seeds for better digestion, storing them in the refrigerator, and purchasing organic brands like Nutiva in bulk from stores like Costco. A recurring theme was the preference for getting nutrients from whole food sources rather than synthetic supplements, with members reporting unexpected benefits like improved regularity, reduced IBS cramping, feeling fuller longer, and even overcoming anemia.

I'm going to get them. They're supposedly ok for people with colitis as well.

I eat and love chia seeds- I throw them in pretty much anything. I got into them so I could still have cereal for breakfast (hypoglycemic, not supposed to carb load at breakfast). They add a nice punch of protein and, unexpected bonus, I'm no longer anemic! Still on the low end of normal, but not anemic. :)

I recommend them to everyone. :) I buy them in bulk from Costco or WinCo.

I recently bought bulk chia seeds to make a tea with. I always prefer and aim to get nutrients from natural food sources if possible. Synthetic vitamins like say vitamin C can have only one part of true vitamin C (Molecules pulled from petroleum are used for synthetic vit. C according to Dr. Berg and his wife Dr. Berg.) and still be classified as vitamin C because it is one of the acids in it, not because it is the complete natural organic true combination of molecules that is whole vitamin C
, and actually be harmful causing things like vein issues to appear on the skin that weren't there before. Anyway, I support your getting natural chia! Enjoy! ⚘πŸ₯€πŸŒ·πŸ₯€βš˜
