@A MyFibroTeam Member, We eat pumpkins seeds, and 2 of our pets. It does have benefits with magnesium. But it balances hormones especially during menopause . Pumpkin oil is also a great source too.πŸ’ž

I have not read or heard anything about pumpkin seeds helping/cure fibromyalgia, but I have read that it is good for dogs ground up on their food to help prevent parasites.

That's an interesting question! There's no documented evidence within the fibromyalgia community that pumpkin seeds help "rid" fibromyalgia, and fibromyalgia is not caused by parasites. It's a central nervous system condition involving how the brain processes pain signals.

That's an interesting question! There's no documented evidence within the fibromyalgia community that pumpkin seeds help "rid" fibromyalgia, and fibromyalgia is not caused by parasites. It's a central nervous system condition involving how the brain processes pain signals.

That said, pumpkin seeds do contain some nutrients that may offer general benefits for fibromyalgia symptoms:

- Magnesium – many people with fibromyalgia are deficient, and it may help with muscle pain and sleep
- Zinc – supports immune function
- Tryptophan – can support serotonin production, which plays a role in pain regulation

So while pumpkin seeds won't "cure" fibromyalgia, they could be a helpful addition to a balanced diet as part of managing symptoms.

It's always worth discussing any new dietary changes or concerns with your doctor, especially if you feel something specific is triggering your symptoms. They can help rule things out and guide you toward the most effective management strategies.

I have read that pumpkin seeds are high in magnesium as well as chia seeds. I have started to incorporate them into my daily diet to see how the fatigue and muscle pain goes.

I have suffered for 20 years and after 2 months of pumpkin seeds, I'm a different person with a calm body
