Stay away from all dairy products, grains, sugar, salt, and sugar free diets as well as red meats. Eat grilled or baked chicken(BBQ is okay without the sauce) salads regular or with fruit and nuts, fruit flavor vinegar, or vinaigrette dressings, potatoe if boiled or baked plain so I suggest boiled better, plain mashed potatoes, vegetables raw or steamed. My GERD, Heartburn, and other symptoms with digestion (especially) chest pains have gone away. Stay away from sodas, and sweet drinks and have water w/lemon, vegetable and fruit juices with no added sugar. Nuts, and fruits. Try that out.

One thing i do is I take pasta dishes and i use squash or zuccini forgive my spelling as a noodle substitute. It is cheaper and more natural then getting gluten free noodles. I feel much better if i avoid mainly gluten. Substitute cow milk for Silk almond milk helps me a lot also.

The book The Autoimmune Solution by Amy Myers MD. Helps you to figure out food allergies and intolerances. She does have some recipes that cut out legumes, dairy and gluten. You could easily substitute ground chicken or beef for pork in her recipes.

The whole thing is so complicated, I it took a Naturopath to get to the bottom of it. Everyone has different food intolerances, it’s just not food allergies, and the Naturopath has to test you for them. It really changed my stomach issues

@A MyFibroTeam Member, the autoimmune solution diet cuts out all of those things so you can heal your stomach and immune system and figure out what foods your body is having trouble with.

You do need to cut everything out at once because if you don't, your leaky gut won't heal. You have to stick to original diet for a month, then you add things in one at a time, then waiting 3 days to see if you get any affects from the newly added food. I have been living on this diet for a month and I was feeling better. I didn't crash because of eating healthier. Since having my teeth pulled, I have cheated on the diet and immediately felt effects. I need to concentrate on sticking to it again because I did feel better.
