Im a recovering alcoholic of 7 years and have been on nearly all the meds n high dosages of 90% of the fybro meds with no relief .at a pain clinic class oxcicodine was mentioned.i asked my doc if i could try these to be told no as im a addict ???? Ummm recovering from alcohol yes not pills or street drugs ?? What does everyone think does oxy work well or am i fighting for something that again wont work

Yes its the only thing that takes all my pain away.Its not something im orescribed all the time as its highly addictive.Only when im extremley bad my rheumatologist will write a scriot for ten days worth.

your dr is right. even though you are a recovering alcoholic, drugs rank right up there with alcohol. go to addiction.com and search giving pain meds to alcoholic
