Members responded to a question about vertigo lasting four days with fibromyalgia, with many confirming they experience similar symptoms ranging from occasional dizziness to severe, prolonged episodes. Several members shared medications that have helped them find relief, including Serc (betahistine) for balance problems and Ménière's disease, Stemetil (prochlorperazine) for nausea, Savella for chronic dizziness, and over-the-counter options like Dramamine or Bonine for acute episodes. A recurring theme was the importance of seeing a specialist when vertigo is severe or persistent, managing triggers like head position and stress, and finding the right medication dosage and timing that works best for each individual's symptoms.

SERC is excellent it's actually a brand name for the drug betahisteme and is used for menieres and balance problems. I take two a day. I used to be soo plagued with vertigo after labyrinthitis. But since Fibro it's more an unsteady dizzy feeling and betahisteme work s well

I have constant dizziness and vertigo intermittent due to damage from an antibiotic and scarring on my ear drum. My pharmacist suggested serc which i take. Im not sure about you but i get better relief from one full tablet morning and night rather than half three times a day. Also my gp gives my prochlorperazine (stemetil). It helps with my nausea as an added bonus. Maybe see if its possible next time you touch base with you dr
