Members strongly connected over the experience of bilateral hip pain, with many identifying bursitis as a common cause and describing the constant, severe nature of the pain affecting sitting, standing, walking, and sleeping. Several members shared practical relief strategies, including anti-inflammatory injections, light yoga and gentle stretching to maintain range of motion and muscle strength, massage and reflexology, and diagnostic imaging like MRIs that revealed underlying issues such as bulging discs requiring treatment. A recurring theme was the frustration of misunderstood pain and the importance of persistence in finding both a diagnosis and treatments that offer meaningful relief.

You are not alone. I have trouble walking, standing or sitting too long. People think I figit. I get some relief from massage and reflexology. Try it, it might help

Yes, after suffering for months with no relief finally got an MRI and found several bulging discs. I am now being treated with injections for this.

It sounds like what I have - bursitis. Do you have pain all of the time? It didn't matter what I was doing, sitting, standing (is the worst), walking, sleeping, the pain is always there. I found doing light yoga really helps. It was painful when I started gentle stretching but I did a little bit and was eventually able to increase my range of motion. It's important to keep the muscles strong.
