Does Having Fibro Mean The Depression Is About Fibro?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I find that my triggers will be the stuff i already know about then the physical and mental pain of fibro feeds in to it . Has anyone found their depression worse since being diagnosed , but fibro not necessarily being the only thing they feel depressed about ? Or is depression in fibro itself more common because of low endorphins etc

We are mourning the loss of our pre-pain filled life so I don’t think there’s anyway of avoiding depression!! Plus, any physical or mental strain is what brings on fibro so if something drastic happened in your life, yes you could get depressed then fibro starts! All I’m saying is, in my eyes depression and fibro go together!!!

I was diagnosed with depression before i started experiencing fibro. Doctors I have seen have tried putting my depression down to my fibro even though this is not always the case. The two are common together because of how tough fibro is but I recently had a doctor tell me that my depression may have caused my fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue to develop in the first place. He explained that experiences such as trauma or depression can cause fibromyalgia to emerge. Hope this helped.

I do not go to doctors they do their best but they dont have answers. I pray and in time the Lord will come back through the Holy Spirit and give u an answer u will know what u heard is true trust me on that x Pray is to talk to God like u would a friend as its about having a relationship with him . that is what being saved means its a relationship with the risen Lord. Its not about do and donts he will lead and guide u through the Holy Spirit x. Jesus loves us x

I do not take a pain pill unless i feel out of my mind as too many pills too many side effects. When the pain bad I say I surrender this pain and the root cause and i thank u by Jesus stripes I AM Healed. I say this over and over when I am in bad and constant pain and I know one day in a twinkle of an eye it will be gone . I have used this with diabetes for a period of 3-4 months i am totally healed . I used the pray when I was in hospital for 3 weeks when in pain had two back teeth that had abscess and I had a huge growth in my neck and i was cancer free . I dont know all the answers I dont know the whys but i do know in the end we will understand.
