I have had fybromayalga for four years now.
I recently been experiencing different pain related to fybromayalga.
I have started to get a stabbing sharp pain at the back of my throat also in my chest.
I have had it check out with my GP by checking my Hart which she reassure me it was fine..
She came to the conclusion that it was my fybromayalga.
As anybody experienced this pain?

Members confirmed that sharp stabbing pains in the throat and chest are experiences they share with fibromyalgia, with many describing how frightening these symptoms can be until doctors ruled out heart problems and confirmed the pain as fibromyalgia-related. Several members found relief through medications like amitriptyline, nitroglycerin, baclofen, and cyclobenzaprine, while others mentioned the importance of ruling out other conditions such as chest wall syndrome, GERD, or hiatal hernia through proper testing. A recurring theme was the validation of having a community where members can ask about new symptoms without fear of judgment, as fibromyalgia often presents unpredictable pain that can make people feel like they're going mad or that it's all in their head.

I get it in my chest too. Its one of the main places it happens for me. Its scary as it feels like a heart attack, but nope, its a fibro attack instead

I get pain in my shoulders and chest when I breath sometimes. I spoke to my then TO and he thought it was muscle spasms. I was prescribed baclafen a muscle relaxant. This works really well for what ever is causing the pain.
