@A MyFibroTeam Member I tried the CPAP three times and each time it didn't help so as far as I'm concerned I Do Not have sleep apnea as the one Dr. insists I have so changed Dr. He gave me two different kinds of sleeping pill neither of which worked, in fact, I feel the one just made me wired and couldn't sleep! Weird, huh??? As for the blurry vision, it is also a side effect of Lyrica so am being weaned off of it and it has definitely improved. If you don't wean off the Lyrica you can go into withdrawal symptoms! I also use the same eye drops for the dry eye it helps me a lot. I see the Rheumatologist this Thurs and will ask questions about alternative meds for fibro but so far I can't use Celebrex nor Cymbalta and now Lyrica. I've been on Lyrica a long time and find as I am getting older the side effects were more bothersome so told her I want off of it.
Since my knee surgery I have been waking up about every 2 hrs to change the ice packs on my knee there is still so much heat from it and helps the swelling too. It is now 3 months post-op!! Not too much swelling now but a lot of heat after the exercises and need to ice it. And then the pain pill makes me sleepy also not to mention constipation. Then need to take meds for that too, does it ever end??? LOL!! Prayers and hugs D
I have the same but been told I have m.e as well. I had the double vision and full asleep within second. My vision goes then I am asleep. It may be write everything down what you get then ask doc..
Talk to your doctor about narcolepsy. It’s a sleep disorder where you you can fall asleep anywhere doing anything.
I have insomnia so I don't sleep well. My eyes do feel Sandy & vision blurred. Opthalmologist says it's dry eye & he's right. Drops weren't working so he put tear blockers in so I wouldn't lose as much fluid from the eyes. They work!!
I also have dry mouth which has had a devestating effect on my teeth!! Love Annie💖😇💖
That's just because you are becoming relaxed if you drift off whilst watching TV. I do it all the time. I also feel very tired whilst driving so keep the window open and the radio on and sleep when I get home from work for a while.
