Just started Gabapentin a month ago . Started at 300 mg was to strong . Went to 100 mg 3x day . See Dr today ,will probably increase the dose . Will watch for this and post update. I take 5HTP for my depression. Works great no side affects . After years trying so many . It’s over the counter . I buy at Costco

It's different for each of us. I've taken Lyrica 225 mg twice a day for years without any noticeable sife effects. It helped to some degree, so I stayed on it. It's an anti-seizure med so I'm.not sure how increasing it would help. Then, I'm not a doctor, and I also think all those commercials give people the wrong impression of how it works. But the commercials have made fibromyalgia well known. Now, if only people will believe us. Good luck sorting all this out. Perhaps your doctor could give you something for pain that will really work and cut back on the Lyrica. ❤

I am Sorry ! I totally have my answer doesn’t correspond with the question ! I was on Lyrica for 10 years . I started on 100 mg 3x daily ended on 300 mg 3 x daily . The last year I was on the max dose my depression was much worse, there are a couple of things if your taking a pain Med with it can cause increased depression also there are meds that interact with it . For me my body had developed a reaction to it . Sadly I can’t take it anymore . I say sadly bc for years it made my life (Fibro) so much easier to live with ! Phizer Drug Comany ( maker of Lyrica ) has a phone number with live people who can answer any question on this medication . Also it may be your body getting used to the new dose . It takes a while for your body to get the full effect of this Med . Hope this is s little more helpful .

I'm on 400mg morning and evening and it hasn't affected me that way at all. I suppose we're all different and get affected in different ways. Hope you feel better once you've dropped your dose down a bit.
