I know it's not hot flashes. Every morning, my hair by my neck is soaking. My pgs are soaking wet. I am actually wet from my head to the top of the insides of my legs. There is no body odour. You can actually feel the wetness on the sheets
Sometimes I feel chilled when I get out of bed.
Even something crazier, on those mornings of being chilled, I get up, make coffee and sit in my chair with blankets covering me. Then i fall asleep. Dos not matter, what the temperature is....crazy!

Members opened up about the distressing experience of waking up drenched in sweat every morning, with many describing soaking wet sheets, hair, and clothing, often followed by feeling freezing cold despite the room temperature. Several members shared that they experience similar symptoms including severe hand and joint pain, fingers curling into fists, numbness, and a burning sensation throughout the body, with some attributing the sweating to fibromyalgia's effect on nerves sending mixed signals about temperature regulation, while others found relief through hormone therapy or adjusting room temperature and keeping fans, blankets, and heating pads nearby. A recurring theme was the frustration of doctors saying nothing can be done about the sweating, the exhaustion of fighting your own body every morning, and the deep comfort of knowing others truly understand these symptoms and that you're not alone or imagining them.

Hi Rebbca
I feel like I am talking to myself.
I am the exact same way. Except, sometimes I kinda, sorta run to pee...my bladder is full.
And the same goes for the hands, knuckles an all. At times, when I wake up, my hands are fists and you can see every place where I have arthritis. My hands do not want to be pulled back and the same goes for my knees. They really hurt to the point where I am screaming in pain to straighten my legs. I wonder what the neighbors are thinking.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THE WORLD OF FIBRO.
EVERYTHING YOU SAY OR ASK ABOUT, IS NORMAL.
We have the same AM symptoms of fibro where someone may not have these .
So say HALLIELLOUA (that is definitely the incorrect spelling of that word) , thank you God and get up.And then say thank you.

I am like you, only three upper part of my body is wet...like I have swimming. Initially, I thought it was hot flashes but apparently there is night sweats...I do not know the difference.
I take meds for hot flashes, they do work because I do not get them during tHe day/night.
These sweats at night are different, so I think it's the meds I am on.

I understand. I don't sweat every night, but often enough to be miserable. I also get up feeling very cold. Mornings are my worst time for everything. Also, every evening, l can actually feel it coming on, l get really really hot and then break out in a sweat that runs down my face. It doesn't last very long. Its kind of like a hot flash, but I know it's not.

I have symptoms with my hands, but not quite what it sounds like you have.

Every doc I’ve seen says there’s nothing that can be done about the sweating. 😞
