Can anyone recommend aids with sitting when it comes to coccyx pain? Ive seen others have suggested a type of cushion but havent said the names.
It only stops hurting when i lie down which isnt always possible .
Thank you
Hi @A MyFibroTeam Member you can get a donut cushion or a coccyx orthopaedic memory foam cushion, they are different and the orthopaedic one is better for posture as well as coccyx pain. I have used the donut one after falling and landing on my coccyx and it's not that comfortable as you need to make sure the coccyx is over the hole in the middle where as the other one has a space for the coccyx at the back so you sit on the whole cushion not just part of it.
Hi £29 on Amazon if interested, think I will get myself one xx
Yes I have this constantly.. But I also have radiculopathy.. I go to a chiropractor to get religned it helps but now I have to start physical therapy because it's causing me lots of pain when sleeping & walking
It's a donut cushion, is what I think they are referring to. Try googling that and you can get an idea of what it is, then I would buy from Amazon (probably cheapest with the biggest selection).
You can buy a coccyx orthopaedic memory foam cushion as well which just provide a space for the coccyx. Look it up online and it will tell about them and where to buy it. Hope this helps. luv & gentle hugs Roo xx
