Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing frequent urges to urinate as a common symptom of fibromyalgia, even without a urinary tract infection, with many describing it as constant pressure or a feeling of needing to go immediately after just using the bathroom. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage symptoms, including taking low-dose gabapentin for nerve sensitivity, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, staying well-hydrated to reduce urine concentration, using homeopathic remedies like Hyland's EnurAid, and always knowing where restrooms are located when leaving home. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of this symptom, from disrupted sleep and incontinence issues to the frustration of planning life around bathroom access, balanced by appreciation for community support and understanding from others who share the same struggles.

Dear Lady who pees a lot, I have..still have.. fibromyalgia for 45 years...fibro changes and
with it brings new symptoms. for your problem...check out Swanson vitamins.
go to the homeopathy section, Hylands makes EnurAid especially for women.
I take 2 tablets under the tongue and gives me 4 hours of relief. excellent for long
trips or to help you sleep. Also check out their homeopathy for Fibromyalgia pills
100 tablets for $4.99. helps with the pain and sleep ...all natural.
This is a do-able disease but learn about it and what you can expect.
read Treating and Beating Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
by Dr. Roger H. Murphree. ..try Thriftbooks on line for used books no shipping for $10.
check out his website...wwwdrroger.com .
Dr. Murphree sends out newsletters..has webinars so you
can learn about fibro.
I hope I did not overwhelm you with information.
I always check out barometric pressure and when the pressure goes down..my
body hurts and I limit my activities. When the barometric pressure goes up
I know I am going to feel better and can enjoy life again.
Take care, God bless you and thank you for listening to me.

Potentially nerve sensitivity in the bladder and urethra. I take low dose gabapentin for this, avoid caffeine and alcohol and drink lots of water. The need to pee is from the urine concentration, not so much having a full bladder.

I have had fibro for 30 years and always had this problem. Everywhere I go, I have to know where the restroom is. It is very frustrating. I go 3 or 4 times before I leave the house sometimes. It feels like pressure and I think its just a nervous bladder. I have never taken any meds for it but they do have some you could try. I drink water constantly because of dry mouth from meds so I assume that's my main problem. Talk to your doctor about it. I hope it gets better. Hugs
