Hi I’m 32 years of age and started getting random pains in my chest 8 months ago, doctor said it was costondritis. Started seeing a private osteopath which sort of helped and then he said I’m all good to just carry on woth life. 2 months later my chest pain is back with leg aches in the knees mainly random twitch’s in my upper legs. Also get spasms in stomach arms and my neck and back are always stiff with aches. And last thing the head and jaw aches everyday without fail. I feel so drained… read more
hey @A MyFibroTeam Member how are you doing these days?
your story sounds just like me in the begining
Hey coyote1284 thank you for your reply, my symptoms are so random, I have to see the rhumboligist start of next week to see if I can get diagnosed or at least rule some things out.
As I woke this morning with only back pain which feels like I’ve pulled all muscles in my back which I know I haven’t, and yesterday just felt like I had no energy what so ever it’s so confusing 😐
For me I had classic signs. My daughter did a symptom check and came up with fibro. I had pains in the elbow. Who says there elbow hurts. LOL It wraps around my body.. My legs and back are my worst. Followed by my neck, fingers, and then the side effects from meds.
Almost identical to my story
@A MyFibroTeam Member are you getting your twitching in the same spots repetitively? For instance, on Friday (all day) I had twitching by my sternum under my breast area (felt like popcorn) and then yesterday afternoon after having some numbness in my left forearm and hand, I started getting twitching near my tricep (close to my elbow). I woke up this AM and it was even worse. I drank some electrolytes and took my vitamins and still nothing has helped. I am so terrified by these things. No perceived weakness but they still make me cry because I did not have these before all this started. I get a muscle twitch every now and then throughout the day or after a hard work out but I'm getting them and they last all day. Did you get any feedback on the small fiber group? My neuro was reluctant to give me the biopsy because she said I should have numbness equally on each side. I explained to her that I was getting bilaterial vibration sensations but the numbness has been more recent and is far more dominant in my left arm (which was EMG'd about a month ago and everything came back normal. I just don't understand what is going on. I'm so worried..
