Members shared mixed experiences using CBD for fibromyalgia and chronic pain, with some finding significant relief through daily oral tinctures (noting it took three months to work), topical salves for muscle warmth, or combining CBD with lifestyle changes like tai chi and dietary adjustments. Several members reported no benefit despite trying multiple brands and forms, with common complaints including unpleasant taste, increased lethargy, and disappointment after high hopes, though many emphasized the importance of trying it yourself since results vary widely. A recurring theme was curiosity about the difference between CBD and THC products, concerns about feeling high, and frustration with the confusing marketplace and limited access to medical marijuana in areas where it remains restricted.

I tried the CBD oil and yes, disgusting doesn’t even begin to describe the taste! However I did keep trying it in hopes this would be the answer to relieving some pain. I tried three different strains of CBD oil and unfortunately none of them worked! I gave it lots of time as I figured it may take awhile to work but in the end I quit as I was getting no relief!! I was so excited as I had wanted to try it for a long time and felt for some reason that it was going to be the answer to all my fibro problems!!! It was a huge let down but I was glad I tried it because that at least put my mind to rest wondering whether it was the end all be all. Good luck though if you try it as I’ve heard of many people it has helped!!

I use a CBD salve where I apply it to my skin. I find that it does help. Instead of making my skin hurt, I feel like it warms the muscles underneath.

Thank you all for your responses. I have tried the topical CBD lotion for pain, & 2 different brands of liquid CBD. I didnt think it worked as much at 1st, but seemed as if it needed to build up in my system. I have less pain, so I am able to move easier, which means I want to move more!
I've also changed my diet, started doing tai chi, yoga & essential oils. Stress is a big trigger for me, so I stay away from negative people & letting others know my triggers so they can know how to help me. Those who care will try!
