I have been recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I have had a burning pain throughout my body. Is this a symptom of fibromyalgia?

burning pain is a very common symptom of my fibro. Especially with touch. I have specific hot spots on my body that are especially more sensitive. Gentle rubbing or stroking the skin makes it feel worse for me. For that reason I find that hot baths are a great reliever. I avoid topical creams like icy hot because the menthol aggravates the burning even more and can lead to flare.

I guess I am lucky so far that I haven’t experienced that symptom yet.
