For your information and anyone else who needs to know......
Allodynia (Ancient Greek άλλος állos "other" and οδύνη odúnē "pain") refers to central pain sensitization (increased response of neurons) following normally non-painful, often repetitive, stimulation. Allodynia can lead to the triggering of a pain response from stimuli which do not normally provoke pain.

Potentially you are hyper sensitive to chemicals now. Try a shampoo etc with no baddies in it. Water not too hot and even coconut oil on your scalp.

I have a very sore scalp when I'm in a flare, or one is about to start. My head feels bruised too, as if I've banged it. It seems to be a pre-warning of a flare up a lot of the time.

T Gel shampoo is good. I have psoriasis and use it for that but anyone can use it. I love it.

I experience itchy scalp, sores in head, and burning sensations on my scalp. It was actually how I initially found out I potentially had fibromyalgia. I was told that it was a somatosensory panic attack. Meaning, that i experienced the panic attack on my skin. This is usually triggered when my stress levels are bad and along with my bad fibro flares.
