I am scheduled to fo a sleep study for sleep apnea. I am curious if anyone has experienced pain relief after they started using cpap for sleep apnea. A book i am reading called Fibromyalgia Cure suggests that if you can get good sleep it will resolve fm pain and symptoms. I think if it is that easy we would all have cpap machines!
i have done the sleep study, have a cpap machine but cant seem to get more then 4 hours on it. once i try to lay on my side the mask loses its and i cant get it right again. so i stopped. my pcp urged me to continue to the poiint she would give me something for anxiety so i can sleep longer. so i will give it another go round .
Interesting. Yeah, I don't plan on doing it because I doubt insurance would pay. I haven't been able to afford a car in years, anyway. I wish my state would crack down on all the over-medicated drivers.
I did a sleep study - they said it looked like I had mini seizures while sleeping and rarely got into the deep stage of sleep. They said I needed a 24hour EEG which then ruled out the seizures, but still showed Restless legs and not a lot of deep sleep. Prescribed me clonazepam to limit the legs but it makes me too tired the next day so I rarely take it. At least I know it’s not apnea or seizures.. $1,000 later...
I had my tongue pierced 3 times, septum and labret. I'll definitely try this. Needles don't bug me at all. I just googled it. Sounds promising! Thanks for the info.
Never heard of them till now! Interesting! Thanks for the info
