I have the same problem, and am also a young person with fibro. Fibro can antagonize sweat glands, and can cause them to overproduce sweat. Times like sleep, are when your body is most relaxed, and moves the least, allows sweat to build up more than it would when moving around in day-to-day life.

Yes, I grt them sometimes. Usually means even when you are sleeping the pain is there. It could also be hormonal. I started hormone meds. I find this helps.

I totally have this! It's so annoying and I never thought it could be associated with my fibro. Would be interested if there are others and if it is actually fibro related or just something else that we happen to have.

I looked at your story and saw that you are only 20. I would let your doctor know about the night sweats. It can be caused from fibro but there are many things that can cause night sweats. They need to rule out any other reasons you are having them. Better to be safe than sorry. I also keep a fan on at night that helps them from happening as often. Good luck and let us know what your doctor says. Hugs

I get them all the time too! And I always wake up freezing (and tend to get them worse in my legs? Not sure why, but my pain has always been pretty bad in my lower half) I am also on Cymbalta for the pain and have heard that can be a potential side effect. I do take Melatonin right before bed and I think that has helped a bit - I used to get them all the time and now they are less frequent. Would definitely recommend if you have trouble sleeping or wake up frequently during the night!
