Members connected over the shared and often unsettling experience of tingling and numbness in their hands, feet, legs, and shoulders, with many noting that symptoms worsen during activities like driving, holding a phone, or after long periods of work. Several members shared practical considerations, including the possibility of diabetes as an underlying cause (prompting one member to schedule testing), as well as potential contributing factors like diet, weather, medications, and the need for movement or remedial massage. A recurring theme was the complexity of living with fibromyalgia alongside multiple other conditions, with members reassuring each other that they are not alone in managing these uncomfortable and sometimes frightening symptoms.
