Members deeply related to the experience of severe deep bone pain in the legs, with many describing it as knife-like pain in the shins, often accompanied by swelling in the ankles and lower legs. Several members shared practical remedies that have helped them find relief, including Epsom salt baths, heating pads or heated blankets, topical treatments like lidocaine 5% ointment or Blue Emu rub, magnesium oil massage, and following an anti-inflammatory diet. A recurring theme was the intense and sometimes sudden nature of the pain, which many members noted may be related to inflammation, autoimmune activity, or past blood clots, with encouragement to seek medical guidance while also exploring comfort measures at home.

Deep bone pain is horrible and drives me BONKERS. I get it really bad in my shins and forearms, and sometimes it comes on so fast and so hard it makes me yell. The only other thing that's ever made me yell was a bad kidney stone. I don't know what to do either so I'm going to try baths or wrapping in warm blankets like others have mentioned. It's brutal.

Me toooo.... ouch. It is the most painful. My neuro says its likely autoimmune/inflammation related. Epson salt baths at night and anti-inflammatory diet.

Oh My Goodness, Yes! Even in my arms, but Really in my legs. I take a hot bath at night but it only helps when I am soaking. Like right now. I can't even focus.
