I have had three swollen lymph nodes in my neck and now one in my groin. They are no more than 1cm across and I have had them for 3 months now. Gp tells me not to worry!!! Anyone else had a similar experience. I am recently diagnosed as having Fibro and ME but am worried about Lymphoma as there are crossover symptoms. Any info / experiences would be welcome as I am beside myself with worry.
I've had 2 in the back of my head.Just bout maybe 3weeks ago I had a pain appointment to get accuputure injections and had the doctor inject in my 2 spots where had lymph nodes.i had bleed for few seconds afterwards but swelling and relief went down instantly then bout 2days later the swollen lymph nodes have not been swelling as much and still has not as of this present day. But as far as knowing how long lymph nodes go away is uncertain...just thought I share my experience with you.. Hope you get better and get some results figured out soon.

You need further testing. I see where most people self diagnose & blame it on firbro. That isn't always the case. I had excruciating pain for years blamed it on fibro. With further testing by my rheumatologist found in addition to fibro I have polymyalgia rheumatica. While the sypmtoms you describe don't match PRM I use as an example that further testing may uncover other health conditions aside from fibro.
I just went for my second CT scan of my neck. I get the results next week! Itโs one node that keeps swelling! My cancer doctor is on it ! I had breast cancer in 2003 so always worried about that stuff and stay on top of it! It swells and hurts in my neck. Itโs a dull pain ! Will post to you Jenn99 if I get results!Soft hugs to you!๐๐
Hi. The one near my ear took about 3 months to go. Was painful but a kind of dull ache. The thing is no matter what any others of us have experienced you will still worry so push your gp. If nothing else just put your own mind at ease. Hope it all goes well for you xxx
This is so true Irenerude! Thatโs why my cancer doctor is watching me closely on the one in my neck as itโs painful and itโs larger than it was first diagnosed! Great Advice! Soft hugs to you!๐
