Hi,I'm wondering if anyone has the symptons of Electrcal shock waves running thru your whole upper body down thru your arms?

Members connected over the distressing experience of electric shock sensations running through their bodies, with many describing sudden shooting pains in their arms, legs, neck, shoulders, and extremities that can last anywhere from moments to days and sometimes leave them unable to move. Several members shared strategies including icing the affected area, using Bio-Freeze or massage, walking and shaking out limbs when it happens, and one member found relief after discovering theirs was caused by a pinched nerve from carrying a heavy bag. A recurring theme was the unpredictable and debilitating nature of these episodes, the suspicion that stress may trigger them, and the importance of seeking care from a rheumatologist to find real relief.

I definitely think stress brings them on. For me I can't move until it subsides so I freeze and probably be look like I'm malfunctioning. I feel your pain! I hope they stop happening for you, I know how unpleasant it can be.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, back at you hope you have an ok day as well. Those electric shocks come out of nowhere and make u jump in pain and then gone back and forth sometimes for days other times just for a few hours. Hugs and Prayers

JenGep,tks for quick response,I've been having these epispodes for yrs.now.. Going to try to find a good Rheumatologist.Have to find some relief for this.Maybe I do have a pinched nerve.None of the Dr's I've even suggested that.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I guess i'm a little lucky there,hasn't ever hit when out ,sometimes when i'm at work,when it happens at home I walk around like a crazy person,walk around shaking the tar out my arms & hands,i also went thru a breakup 2 yrs.ago ,cound't take it anymore.I'm still trying to deal with it.
