Tonight I went to the Burger King window and asked for a Big Mac...Then it took me a minute to figure out why Burger King no longer sold Big Macs. Um...I meant to order a Whopper. 😳😁😱😁

Members enthusiastically shared hilarious fibro fog moments in response to someone ordering a Big Mac at Burger King, creating a warm space of laughter and solidarity around the confusion and memory lapses that come with fibromyalgia. Several members described relatable mishaps including forgetting to put on clothes before leaving the house, getting into the wrong cars in parking lots, throwing away car keys with the trash, driving away from drive-throughs without food, and mixing up appointments or medication locations. A recurring theme was using humor as a coping mechanism for the frustration of fibro fog, with many members expressing that laughing together about these shared experiences helps them feel less alone and makes the challenges more bearable.

Oh I do mad stuff at least once a week, turning up to appointments a day early, cereal in the fridge, talking back to front daily! Not recognizing people who have stopped to say hello, staring them in the face looking puzzled why they are nattering away to walk away thinking who are they, to find out that’s a family member lol, forgetting to wash conditioner of my hair is a favourite at least once a month, washing machine on without clothes in the machine, microwave on without putting whatever I needed warming up, the lists goes on!! πŸ˜‚

I drove a red(maroon) Toyota Corolla for 18 yrs. Had to let it go & started to drive a grey Hyundai Elantra since Jan this year. But I would come out of a mall or somewhere looking for my red Toyota! There was even the time that I actually put the Hyundai key into a red Toyota that looks like my old car & wondered why the key is not going in ! Haha !Took awhile to realize why not ! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I'm always hunting down my eyeglasses. Not long ago, I said, "Oh No!" My husband said, "What's wrong?" When going out that day, I put my computer reading glasses in pants pocket with a zipper. *SAFE! Right? Only thing, I put those slacks in the washing machine not long after coming home! Glasses were retrieved. :-) Very well cleaned. I have them on, now. LOL!
