Does Anyone Suffer From Allodynia?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have started experiencieng this pain on my legs and arms. I researched, and it says it is called allodynia. And it is called by over reactive and malfunctioning nerves. I don't feel it all the time, but when it comes, it is more debilitating. I thought the muscle spasms were painful enough already.

I also have very weak limbs with cramped joints, spasms & sharp shooting pains that go through my fingers up my arms... I have a pillow to keep my arms supported and as comfortable as possible, as well as leg pillow. I'm in comfortable clothes 99% of the time as well, nothing to heavy or difficult to get on & off. I was told I more than likely have myelopathy which is nerve damage on spine that affects your whole body but mostly limbs. You're not alone! Wishing u the best!

I can relate Jillyn31. I have started buying really soft clothes, mostly pajamas as that is what I am usually in. Sending you hugs🤗🤗🤗

Wow!! Thats really odd to read this. Ive been experiencing the same kind of pain. Ive always had pain in my arms and legs.... But this is a "different kind of pain...and at this moment I'm beside myself. I laid down to sleep but the pain is horrific in my knees and legs.

I've been having Burning, started bottom of feet and now inside L arm- inside L arm is almost constant.
I also get burning center of chest- not acid reflux burning, but like hot- not fun. Dr asked today if I had gone thru menopause, not sure. he said talk to GYN. Will do.
He ordered test for diabetes, pre- diabetes, hypoglycemia
