Members responded to a question about night sweats with overwhelming solidarity, with many sharing that they wake up completely soaked and struggling with the frustrating cycle of being both hot and cold at the same time. Several members noted that many fibromyalgia medications list night sweats as a side effect, though some experienced sweats starting long after beginning their medications or well past menopause, suggesting the condition itself may be a contributing factor. A recurring theme was the exhausting unpredictability of temperature regulation with fibro, with members describing fluctuating between profuse sweating and uncontrollable chills from night to night, leaving them drained and searching for relief.

I've experienced night sweats, which is so unlike me as.. I've always been a person who's struggled to keep warm.. Layering up.. Especially at night.. But now with fibro I fluctuate between nights where I'm sweating profusely & nights where I can not get warm. Both are annoying & draining x
