I always have bruised easily, but im sure it has gotten worse. And they seem like they last longer. Ive wondered if we are just always in pain we dont notice the bumps as much? Like our pain tolerance has gone up so much small bumps dont register?
I've gotten bruises that I didn't understand., I think it's because your body is in pain and sometimes numbness that sometimes you don't notice the pain of anything that causes a normal bruise.
definitely agree about our pain thresholds going up, we don’t register some things, like metal probes getting stabbed in to arms for nerve conduction study, and not even flinching and talking nonsense throughout, he even said normally people jump to the ceiling 😂
I also bruise easily. I do take some NSAIDS which can increase bruising. And when I get fatigued Im more clumsy and I am off on my perception so I easily bump my arms and legs, but then forget about it. I agree with Crumpled-butte and that maybe because our pain tolerance is high we dont notice the bumps we give ourselves.
I use to bruise all the time, did some online research and realized it was Vitamin C deficiency. Started taking a supplement and the bruising eased up.
