My rheumatologist gave me Gabapentin after 2 weeks I went off of it I started gaining weight which is just as bad as the pain because as soon as you start to gain weight your body hurts even more almost every medication they give you for fibromyalgia makes you gain weight the only thing I take 2 Advil in the morning with one 50mg Tramadol and that's it and for me that means no weight gain and no real side effects
Yes in my face and hands and back.
Yes. Sudden muscle twitching, numbness in all extremities.
yes. I get numbness in different parts of my body all the time. I also get twitches or jerking when i am trying to relax to go to sleep. I have had like a electric shock feeling out of the blue usually in between my neck and top of my shoulder that makes my arm jerk. Isn't fibro fun. Lol. Crazy symptoms and always new ones sprouting up. After 30 years, you would think that i would have had all the symptoms of fibro but no, i keep getting new ones. I hope you have a good weekend.
Yes I get twitches and numbness on front of shins on and off - almost like a rubberband springing feeling. Horrible aching in my hips at night and the bottom of my feet/heels - it's enough to drive you mad. I jump in a hot tub or infared sauna - helps a bit but I have to sleep on a heating pad nightly. This is all new for me - just diagnosed in December - it came out of no where. I still think it was 3 surgeries in one year and a very stressful year. Praying for relief for everyone here!
