Members shared a wide range of approaches to managing fibromyalgia symptoms, from prescription medications like Cymbalta, Lyrica, Tramadol, and muscle relaxers to drug-free methods such as warm water exercise, massage, and CBD oil supplements. Several members warned against combining Cymbalta with Prozac or starting Cymbalta at all, citing personal experiences with difficult side effects including mood swings, weight gain, spaciness, and challenging withdrawal symptoms. A recurring theme was that fibromyalgia management is highly individual, with many members emphasizing the importance of self-advocacy, trying different strategies, and finding what works best for your own body rather than relying solely on what doctors prescribe.

I won't take Cymbalta either, one it caused weight gain and i seemed more depressed. Yes, it has bad side effects, but doctors push it because the drug companies have brain washed them into believing it's a new miracle drug for Fibro. It may work for some people, but I hope they are knowledgeable about the downsides.

Do not take cymbalta. Look up the side effects. They are awful for people trying to get off it.

Off all my medicine and use only the Hemp CBD OIl Supplement. However I was on 100mg morphine twice a day, 10mg Percocet 3 time a day and 7.5 muscle relaxer 3 times a day plus chemo every six months and that chemo was two times two week a part.
