I have the same kind of paralysis, it has happened to me on several occasions, one paralyzed episode, whole right side of my body for 3 and a half days, when i say, paralyzed, I mean absolutely no feeling and no muscle control, it's dead, my children had to carry me around, another episode in my pelvic and hip region for a week and a half, walking is impossible,. I've had many of these paralyzing episodes, it's like you never know when or where it is going to hit you, a different place on my body everytime (it reminds me of Russian Roulette), a frightening feeling wondering if the feeling and muscle tone will return, my doctor said that he wouldn't be surprised if I ended up in a wheelchair, I have had this for alot of my life, the more time that goes along, the worse it gets, yours is the first story that I've come across that's similar to mine, I have children too so I totally understand how you feel, it seems to me that anyone I've come across that has experienced this has only had it for about 10 to 15 mins then it passes, it is quite scary to think about being paralyzed for the rest of my life, I just wish the Dr's could do something for this, thanks for reading :)

Have you been looked at for periodic limb paralysis? That can be a potential cause to what you're going through.

Had searing pain down leg hip and leg again tonight--almost didn't walk but I kept moving. Going to record it now.

hi

Thanks all for the replies. I have startes small im now 3.5 years in with fibro. And the task at hand wasn't a hard one. I have had many flare ups where i feel like im empty and dying. My hands always go numb with pins and needles but never lost use of my body. I never wanna have that again. It gets ne down cause my kids see it and they understand fibro 2 of them are grown up. Its just not being superman to my kids anymore.

Before you do any exercise like that you should do a stretch. I find going to the water more helpful like doing Aquafit in warm water. After I have done that I can then walk. You need to warm up before you do something like that. You have to start small and work up.
