I had a tens unit 20 years ago. Then they switched me to a muscle stimulator. I think it helped more because it is stronger. All of them do about the same thing. It just depends on how it is set up. It would be helpful if your doctor or physica therapist could help you set it up. I would check into a muscle stimulator and see if they are more expensive or the same price. Ive used one for years. Now theyrh getting too fancy and expensive. U only spend -100$ or less. Dont buy one that turns off after 15 min or so have it with 2 funkions or so.

I just received my ireliev tens/ems unit. There are a lot of presets and levels. So far I like it. It feels like the one my physical therapist used when I went to therapy.

My Neurologist is getting me a trial Nerve Stimulator for my back. Hope That works. I was So overworked from the TENS THAT IT NO LONGER WAS HELPING ME. trying everything. Wet/ Cold weather in Michigan .makes All my problems worse.
