Ive contstanly got heartburn and think i have acid reflux anyone else suffer with this?

Yes!! It was so uncomfortable until my doc put me on the generic for Protonix. VERY helpful. I hardly ever have problems with it now.

I avoid spicy foods and foods I know cause problems. I also don't eat four hours before bed. this helps.

For me, heartburn depends on what I eat and when. It helps me to eat lighter and non spicy foods at night. If I'm craving something spicy I try to have it at lunchtime.

I have it nonstop. I switch between prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Advise from my GI dr. I have to have my throat stretch out every 6 months because of the acid. Take one of the meds above for a month, then switch to the next, then the next. If you take the same one all the time, your body may get immune to it. Good luck
