Absolutely. These are my symptoms as well. Also I find that if I try to push through the pain and keep going on with what ever the activity i am doing at the time is when it is a sure thing that i will suffer fibro fog.
Yes..when I overdue it is the worst.I have felt bad many times..when family members want to talk and my brain is done...I just smile and nod yes to everything...but sometimes it makes me sad because I am missing out on the bonding that comes with conversations.. :(
Happens to me ALL the time, especially if I'm painful too. My family has finally gotten the clues to just let me sit back and chill. Sometimes I just leave early and go home to the quiet. I won't remember conversations later too. It's annoying like everything about fibro. But you are definitely not alone!!
Yes indeed. I was looking straight at my son today several times while he was explaining some of his jumps and moves for parkour and after the first sentence, I am just giving him a blank stare, smiling and agreeing with him... I cannot stay focused past the first sentence. I used to always have to make my first sentence count because growing up my mother would not let me get more than that out before she took over the conversation. I wonder if that has anything to do with my attention and inability to maintain conversations well to this day. I mean it happened for decades until I finally got smart and stay away most of the time.
I go super quiet when im sore to. Conversations are hard to follow. Sometimes i completly shut down and can't seem to reply to a question!
