A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do to my fibro im pretty much stuck at home sometimes for weeks at a time. Now that im feeling better I have nothing but time on my hands. We just purchased our first home four months ago. So for months iv had a project to keep me busy. So how do you deal with being bored stuck at home?

I paint, read, watch tv. We're going to try and sell our house in a year so im finding little projects i can do slowly around the house to keep myself busy. Sometimes if its not too cold i just go sit outside or take small walks so that i feel like im getting out and about.

My iPad is a life saver, reading, games, music, movies, social media , news etc right at my finger tips. If I wake in the middle of the night I reach for my iPad. I like embroidery, crafts, etc and I order all my supplies online. I order 90% of our food online. I'm trying to train a lab puppy and it is killing me. I don't have enough energy for that, but I have always had a Lab and I would hate to live without one. Some people enjoy adult coloring books but I don't.
I sell on eBay. Why do I need clothes? I don't go anywhere but to doctors. I have been selling my clothes, shoes and purses.

I think many of us have chronic fatigue and with that I sleep in in the mornings and have naps during the day. I'm not able to do all my house cleaning so I am always behind the 8 ball. I feel like I can never get caught up and the days are so short. I would love to spend some time in my craft room and make cards or knit a project with all the yarn I have. When I am in pain I watch tv and cuddle up in my chair. I am not a person who needs people around very often and really enjoy a lot of alone time.

Find a hobby. When you have something you love to do...time flies by.
