I cannot live above the 1st floor - but i did REALLY like living on the 6th floor when i was in a building with an elevator :P i got a cart for my groceries, and just rolled them back and forth - it was great - but yeah, stairs? not happening, these days!

I live in an apartment - what part of it do you mean, being tolerable? For me - I sometimes really like it - others around, feel safer, etc. Sometimes it's hard - sudden noises really freak me out, etc.
