Does anyone suffer from hand tremors when they get very fatigued? My right arm/hand will go into tremors to the point it is impossible for me to write and it is always when I've pushed way too far. it's an indication I need to immediately stop, not pass go, and not collect $200. Once I rest they will stop and they never last long but it is a bit disconcerting.

Members shared their experiences with hand and body tremors related to fibromyalgia fatigue, with many describing how overexertion triggers shaking severe enough to interfere with writing, holding objects, or even walking. Several members found that immediate rest is the only effective remedy, while others mentioned taking medication for tremors, discovering personal pressure points that temporarily stop shaking, or experiencing tremors throughout the night that shake the entire bed. A recurring theme was the unpredictable and progressive nature of these tremors, the importance of recognizing them as a clear signal to stop and rest, and the frustration of losing abilities like handwriting that were once taken for granted.

#Maryv - I get them too, especially if I put my elbow on the table when I eat. My writing has become terrible, it looks like a child’s and I get terrible cramping that has nothing to do with potassium levels. I have a friend with fibro and her whole body shakes at times

Hi Mary
Yes, I get tremors most often when I am tired, exactly as you describe. Usually my left hand, but I’ve noticed recently it can be both.

I get them through out my body when I over do it. My husband says he can hear it in my voice also. My doctor took me off of work three years ago because they were so bad in my legs I could not walk. He said I was pushing myself to hard to continue working.
