Curious If Anyone Else Notices A Pattern With Your Fibro Flares?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Curious if anyone else notices a pattern with your fibro flares? Mine seem to last 3 days and then I improve. Like my body sets a timer for it to laat 3 days. So, when I feel one coming on, I know what to expect and I can't really fight it. The flare takes its coarse. My flares include high pain, in the bed fatigue and IBS issues. Would love to hear if anyone else experiences a type of pattern with your flares.

definitely I am getting flares every 3-4 days....especially when I have had a rough week...weekends it hits me. extra tiredness, stiffness, and all the other symptoms hits me. I then know I have to lie down and relax or sleep as much as possible. after that I am ok again. it happens all the time constantly.

I just finished a "scientific" experiment on myself, using a chart to graph my activity level and my level of pain, emotional issues and fatigue. I found that if I have one day where I do too much, it's a given I'll suffer higher pain for the next 3-4 days. I wish I could find moderation in everything I do but that is extremely hard. Good luck and welcome to the site. I've added you to my team.

I know cold weather triggers, and overdoing activities. I continue to work full time though it is becoming much more difficult.

Yes, my flares behave the same including the IBS. I just take Tylenol and stay in bed! That is all I'm able to do. Thankfully I'm retired and my husband will check on me and bring food if I'm hungry😄
